A “Hidden Prayer” Collage
Express something true in writing on a canvas panel, “release” it into God’s loving hands by layering over it with pictures and words from magazines, stickers and other ephemera. Scripture reading will be included.

Wreath of Gratitude
Spending time reflecting on the gifts of our life, what makes us grateful and what hinders our gratefulness. We will then create a wreath of gratitude using an embroidery hoop, dried flowers, cording and a wooden word, “grateful”.

Consider the Birds
This workshop will be based on the newly released book, “Considering Sparrows: What Birds Teach Us About Who We Are, Where We're Going, and the Joy of Following Jesus”
We will Paint three wooden chunky plaques, add birds of fabric and decorate with lace, buttons, flowers etc.
Each will be unique to the individuals making them.

Peace Button Wreath
We will consider the concept of “peace” through contemplative practices and scripture and then create a small button wreath on a plaque.

Private Group Workshops are available. With a group of 5 or more, the hostess attends for free. The classes are usually 2 hours long and cost $35/attendee but may be customized for the group. Workshops consist of contemplative practices and an “art” component. Contact me at youthbear@gmail.com if interested in hosting your own workshop. Many topics/themes are available.
